Travel News is an independent Swedish business publication founded in 1985, focusing on the travel and tourism industry. 

Travel News Market is a leading B2B travel trade event in the Nordic region that connects international travel suppliers with the Nordic outbound market. The event offers a balance between pre-scheduled appointments and free networking time, providing destinations, hotels, DMCs, and other travel and tourism suppliers with the opportunity to connect with agents, tour operators, travel planners, and MICE professionals from Scandinavia.

The idea with Travel News Market came when we noticed that there was no actual B2B fair for the hospitality industry in Sweden any longer. Then we put together our wise heads and started working with Travel News Market. After a very short time we felt. Here we go and we launch the first edition in 2016! 

The Swedish market is interesting thanks to a good economy, low unemployment, five weeks paid vacation by law and an immense travel interest among the well-travelled and high spending population, for leisure, business and MICE.

Travel News Market operates in Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and starting in June 2025, the Travel News Market event will expand to the Finnish market.
