The North Aegean Region operates as Regional Tourism Board for the North Aegean Islands.
The Region consists of ten beautiful islands in the northeast edge of the Aegean Sea : Lesvos, Chios, Samos, Limnos and Ikaria and the smaller islets Agios Efstratios, Oinousses, Psara, Fournoi & Thymaina, stand out for their unique natural environment, local culture, and hospitable people. Rich in history, archaeological sites and monuments, but also known for their quality food products and traditional cuisine.

LESVOS ISLAND: the island of hidden harmony, member of UNESCO's Global Geopark Network, with long tradition and history can offer exciting outdoor experiences like hiking at the endless olive groves of the island or biking near the wetlands.
SAMOS ISLAND: the centre of Ionian civilization, homeland of Pythagoras, the great mathematician and philosopher, is an island where the ancient past is alive, where blue skies, aquamarine sea and fragrant blooms are in abundance.
CHIOS ISLAND: the “fragrant” island of the Aegean, mostly because of the aroma of the unique Natural Chios Mastiha (a PDO product) and its lovely citrus fruits. The medieval heritage is present everywhere.
LIMNOS ISLAND: almost untouched by time, a land of mystery and myths, with significant archaeological sites and unique natural environment.
