Marholmen is an island of its own and a destination for relaxation and rest, but also for food and nature experiences. Many people seek out our spa and all the swimming opportunities available here on the island. For those who want to be physically active, there are many opportunities - from the outdoor gym to challenging friends or colleagues at Marholmens Mästare at our activity course.
You stay in our nice and comfortable hotel where all rooms have their own terrace or balcony. Or you can choose to stay in one of the charming Archipelago Houses. Or why not in one of our villas with lots of character? In the summers, we set up five glamping tents on Rackaren Island and throughout the year there are fifteen pitches with electrical outlets to book for those who bring their own accommodation.
Marholmen is a historic place created by wholesaler Nils Berg in the early 1900s, together with his wife Hanna. Since then, many have found inspiration and rest here on the island. Elsa Beskow spent a lot of time here, and she painted beautiful motifs on the ceiling of Grosshandlargården. In many of her classic works, you can also find traces of inspiration from Marholmen.
