Visit Trepça Tours is a cultural and sustainable tourism initiative developed by 7Arte, a leading cultural organization based in Mitrovica, Kosovo. Founded in 2006, 7Arte has over 18 years of experience in promoting art, culture, environmental awareness, and industrial heritage in Northern Kosovo.
Visit Trepça Tours was created to open the doors of the Trepça Industrial Region-once one of Europe’s largest mining complexes-to visitors seeking authentic, educational, and transformative travel experiences.
Our programs combine heritage interpretation, community storytelling, and eco-conscious travel, turning abandoned industrial landscapes into living classrooms. We collaborate with local historians, ex-miners, artists, and guides to design tours that connect past industries with future sustainability.
Through partnerships with Nordic cultural and educational institutions, Visit Trepça Tours aims to position Mitrovica and its surroundings as a new European destination for industrial heritage and creative tourism, inspired by examples like Zollverein (Germany) and Falun Mine (Sweden).
